100 HARRY POTTER INSPIRED TEXTURES
-Part 1: MF | DA -Part 2: MF | DA
I just reached the next thousand (3,000) followers in this blog, and I wanted to express my thank you in a different way this time. All my words will never be enough to express the love I have for all of you, but I hope this help you understand how much it means to me that you are following me. So this is for all of you, in an attempt to say “thank you”. Hope you like it.
And now time to explain what is this about. I made you a huge textures pack, split in two parts. The first part is “a bit of everything”, there are all types of textures, some of them are scans from my Harry Potter books, others are from screencaptures of the movies and one of them are sketchs made by me. The second part is… remember some weeks ago I asked all of you to send me your favourite hp quote? Here they are! I called it the text part, that includes all your quotes plus some of my favourites (some of them handwritten by me) and some scans of the books.
Now, use them well, make a lot of hp graphics and let the magic of photoshop begin! Also, please, if you download the pack, like (or reblog) this post, thank you very much.

Here is a new textures pack, with very different types of textures. It’s the biggest one I’ve ever made and it doesn’t only have a lot of textures but it’s really heavy, so it’ll take a while to download. The other day I found some of my old drawings I made when I was between 9 and 12 and I thought some of them could work as textures. So I tried. And this is the result of it. I personaly think some of them are very difficult (if not impossible) to use but I wanted to include them anyway, I’m just giving all the ones who love to experiment with textures a very big challenge. I love this new trend of tumblr (yes, I do, it’s the first time it’s happening), of making graphics with a papery/gruny effect. If you like it too, maybe you can find useful those textures. You can try to put them in black and white, they can be very useful that way too.

While being in my village for Christmas days, I thought it would be cool to make frame textures, so I took photos of some of the frames we have in my house there and here is the result of it. Yesterday, this girl suggested me to make a Downton Abbey textures pack. I was pretty excited about it, considering I love the show, so I spend two afternoons messing up a bit with photoshop and the result is this textures pack. Half of them are parts of screencaptures of both seasons, although there are other textures that are not from screencaptures. Sorry for the preview, is a bit crappy. Well, I’m not very sure of this but I had a lot of fun making it, so I thought it would be cool to post it. All the textures are inspired with the book The Perks of being a Wallflower.
