And here I am five months later! I literally had not time to make textures, but got a lot of stuff to make them so here I am, after the whole afternoon making textures. I know there aren’t a lot of textures, but I’m planning another pack that I hope I can finish by the end of the month/beginning of july. make textures is one of the best things in the world. bc you make stuff for other people to use, stuff that can help and inspire them to make their own creations, stuff that make other people graphics pretty, and that is really great bc sometimes you’re scrolling through your dash and ‘wait look iSN’T THAT MY TEXTURE IN SOMEONE’S GRAPHIC?!’ and it may sound silly but I feel stupidly proud bc I’m a 0,5% of that graphic and that is cool and yeah idk

One of my favourite things in the world are presents. I prefer to give than to recive them, and I put a lot of work in the wrapping part, not because it’s the most important part but because I love wrapping papers and ribbons and good looking presents, and I think it makes a good impression. So Christmas period is cool because lots of wrapping papers come to my hands. And I decided to make something with them, yes, textures. Here you have used and not-used wrapping papers; some of them were the wrapping from presents I got, others are papers we didn’t use at home; some are edited (the colours especially), others are plain scans. All this started when me making experiments, I tried to use my handwriting as textures in my graphics. Since that moment I started to get message (not one, not two, but some more) asking me about that “font”. I’ve never liked my handwriting and people usually complain about how they don’t understand it, so the situation was a bit surreal. Anyway, about two weeks ago, considering I reached a big followers number, I decided I should try and make a textures pack, so I started asking for quotes and lyrics to add here. I didn’t put all the ones I got, just the ones I though they could be use in any fandom graphic. So here you have 40 handwritten textures. I just reached the next thousand (3,000) followers in this blog, and I wanted to express my thank you in a different way this time. All my words will never be enough to express the love I have for all of you, but I hope this help you understand how much it means to me that you are following me. So this is for all of you, in an attempt to say “thank you”. Hope you like it.
And now time to explain what is this about. I made you a huge textures pack, split in two parts. The first part is “a bit of everything”, there are all types of textures, some of them are scans from my Harry Potter books, others are from screencaptures of the movies and one of them are sketchs made by me. The second part is… remember some weeks ago I asked all of you to send me your favourite hp quote? Here they are! I called it the text part, that includes all your quotes plus some of my favourites (some of them handwritten by me) and some scans of the books.

Yesterday, this girl suggested me to make a Downton Abbey textures pack. I was pretty excited about it, considering I love the show, so I spend two afternoons messing up a bit with photoshop and the result is this textures pack.
